InZOI Director Confirms Community-Wished Features

by Jason Jun 12,2025

This week, the development team behind *InZOI* is taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year—a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before signing off, project lead Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim offered a detailed look into the most requested features from the community, and which of those will make it into the game—and how fully they'll be realized.

InZOI director confirmed some of the features wishlisted by community

One of the standout features coming to *InZOI* is the ability to use real facial capture technology to create zoi templates. While this functionality was already praised during summer announcements for its convenience, Kjun reiterated that the team's ultimate goal is to streamline the zoi creation process even further, making it more intuitive and user-friendly for all players.

Pet ownership within the game is also on the horizon, though fans will need to wait until after early access to experience this feature. Interestingly, Kjun himself is known to be an avid animal lover, so it’s no surprise this addition has been prioritized for post-launch updates.

The game world will include tall buildings, with a maximum height of 30 floors. Although the engine technically supports taller structures, the 30-floor cap was introduced to maintain optimal performance and ensure smooth gameplay experiences across various platforms.

Excitement builds further with confirmation that gas stations and dynamic combat will be part of the game. The slap mechanic introduced in earlier previews received feedback indicating it felt too simplistic, prompting the team to rethink and expand the system. Now, players can expect full-scale fight sequences, where each encounter results in a clear winner and loser—adding depth and realism to social interactions.

To welcome newcomers unfamiliar with life-sim games, *InZOI* will include a comprehensive tutorial. Given the expectation that many new players will join the experience, this thoughtful addition aims to ease the learning curve and improve accessibility.

As of now, Krafton remains committed to launching *InZOI* into early access by the end of March, with no anticipated delays at this time. Fans can look forward to a robust and evolving simulation experience built with player input in mind.
