Castle Doombad is back and better than ever! Now available on Android as Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, this tower defense strategy game, originally launched in 2014 by Grumpyface Studios and published by Yodo1, promises a wickedly fun experience.

Grumpyface, known for hits like Steven Universe: Attack the Light and Teeny Titans, initially planned a simple remake. However, they smartly divided the project into two: Free To Slay for mobile, and Castle Doombad Classic, a remastered version with updated content for Nintendo Switch and Steam (releasing later this year). A sequel, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, is also in development.

Unleash Your Inner Evil!

In Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, you'll build a fiendish lair, deploying traps and minions to thwart heroic do-gooders. It's a delightfully villainous twist on the tower defense genre.

The free-to-play game features ads and optional in-app purchases. Enjoy the original 70 stages, daily challenges, endless modes, over 30 traps to upgrade, and more than 100 items to collect.

Customize your Dark Lord and his lair with unlockable cosmetics ("spoils"), and enhance your gameplay with equippable "Baddie Bonus" perks. A new roguelite mode, "Dr. Lord Evilstein's Roguevenge," adds randomly generated castle layouts and powerful Nightmares to conquer.
