Phasmophobia’s Grafton Farmhouse Revamp Launches in Big Update

2025 has proven to be a busy year for Phasmophobia developer Kinetic Games, and we're only in August. Players have already witnessed a complete journal redesign, the spine-chilling revamp of Bleasedale Farmhouse, and now the freshly updated Grafton Farmhouse - a community favorite.

With Halloween season approaching, we caught up with art director Corey J. Dixon to discuss the latest updates, the game's roadmap to completion, potential plans for Phasmophobia 2, and their exciting collaboration with Blumhouse Films on a feature film adaptation.

The team isn't slowing down as we enter the latter half of the year. Among the notable changes: the investigation journal received a complete makeover to streamline ghost hunting, Bleasedale Farmhouse returned with even more terrifying ambiance, and now Grafton Farmhouse has gotten its much-anticipated refresh.

Dixon shared insights about the ongoing development process: "We're constantly evaluating what Phasmophobia needs to feel complete. While we've made significant progress with the journal and map updates, there's still more we want to implement to perfect the experience."

When asked about the possibility of a sequel, Dixon remained coy: "We're focused on making the current Phasmophobia the best it can be, but never say never. The success has certainly opened doors we never anticipated."

The Blumhouse partnership marks a major milestone for the indie studio. "Working with professionals who literally wrote the book on modern horror has been incredible," Dixon remarked about the film adaptation currently in development.

With these substantial updates and exciting projects in the pipeline, Phasmophobia continues to evolve from its early access origins into a polished horror experience, just in time for its favorite season.
