Navigating Political Intrigue in The Living Lands

Obsidian Entertainment's Avowed offers players continuous opportunities to shape their character's path and ideology. According to Patel, every decision, no matter how seemingly insignificant, contributes to the overall narrative arc.

"It's about providing players with constant opportunities to express and explore their character's alignment," Patel stated. She emphasized the importance of mindful gameplay, urging players to consider their motivations and engagement at each stage: "When am I engaged? When am I curious? When does my interest wane? What keeps me invested?"

The consequences of player choices in Avowed are deeply intertwined with exploration. The political landscape of The Living Lands, and the quest for control within it, is directly influenced by player actions and discoveries. "The stories connecting these worlds are a highlight for me," Patel added.

IGN confirmed with Patel the existence of numerous endings, resulting from a multitude of narrative combinations.
