Deadlock reçoit une refonte majeure avec une refonte de carte qui change la donne. Le dernier patch de Valve transforme le champ de bataille à quatre voies en une arène à trois voies, mettant le jeu plus conforme aux conventions standard du MOBA.
Cette modification importante remodelera considérablement les stratégies de gameplay. La distribution de voie précédente "1 vs 2" est obsolète; Attendez-vous à un arrangement "2 vs 2" dans chaque voie, exigeant une réévaluation complète de l'allocation des ressources et des compositions d'équipe.

Au-delà de la restructuration de la voie centrale, le patch remémorable les positions de camp neutres, les emplacements de buff et autres éléments de la carte. Un nouveau mode «exploration de la carte» a été ajouté, permettant aux joueurs de naviguer librement sur la carte révisée sans la pression du combat, facilitant la familiarisation avec la nouvelle disposition.

Les améliorations supplémentaires incluent la mécanique de sprint raffinée, les ajustements de l'équilibre des caractères et les performances améliorées grâce à la prise en charge intégrée pour DLSS, FSR, NVIDIA Reflex et anti-LAG 2.0.
