Brace yourself: another Celestial, akin to Arishem, is joining Marvel Snap. However, Eson may not be as format-defining as his protégé. Discover the most effective Eson deck lists in Marvel Snap.

Eson is a 6-Cost, 10-Power card with the ability: "End of Turn: Put a created card from your hand here."
A created card is one generated by effects like White Queen or Arishem—essentially, any card not originally in your deck. This allows you to target Eson's ability somewhat, as it will not pull your deck's starting cards to the board.
As you may have noticed, Eson costs 6 Energy, so you'll need ramp assistance from cards like Electro, Wave, or Luna Snow to play him early enough to maximize his value.
The only direct counter to Eson—since Gorgon is ineffective—is to flood your opponent's hand with undesirable cards, such as Rocks or Sentinels from Master Mold.
Eson is fundamentally an Arishem card. You likely shouldn't run one without the other, as Arishem enables you to drop Eson on turn 5 and trigger his ability twice. Here is the deck list:
Iron Patriot Valentina Luke Cage Doom 2088 Shang-Chi Enchantress Galacta Daughter of Galactus Legion Doctor Doom Mockingbird Eson Arishem

The Series 5 cards here are Iron Patriot, Valentina, Doom 2099, Galacta Daughter of Galactus, Mockingbird, and Arishem. Given Arishem's nature, only Doom 2099 and Arishem are truly essential. Many cards can be swapped for alternatives like Jeff, Agent Coulson, or Blob.
Eson serves as an alternative win condition in this deck, useful when you don't draw Mockingbird or generate high-Power cards. You can save cards created by Arishem to play after dropping Eson on turn 5, giving you two turns to utilize his pulls. If you lack suitable targets, you can skip Eson and play Doctor Doom instead.
Note that you generally don't want Eson active for more than three turns, so playing him on turn 5 is optimal. Also, be aware of his anti-synergy with Doom 2099, so decide on your primary strategy before committing to either card.

Fitting Eson into other archetypes is challenging, but a hand-generation deck similar to classic Devil Dinosaur lists might work—just without Devil Dinosaur itself. Consider this list:
Maria Hill Quinjet Iron Patriot Peni Parker Valentina Victoria Hand Agent Coulson White Queen Luna Snow Wiccan Mockingbird Eson
Click here to copy this list from Untapped.
The Series 5 cards here are Iron Patriot, Peni Parker, Valentina, Victoria Hand, Luna Snow, Wiccan, and Mockingbird. Wiccan is crucial; the others can be replaced with cards like Sentinel, Psylocke, or Wave.
This deck aims to play Wiccan on turn 4, using Quinjet to discount hand-generated cards so you can play cheaper ones before Eson pulls your expensive options later. Mockingbird offers another Power boost, while Peni Parker and Luna Snow help ramp Eson out early.
Your play patterns will shift dramatically as you generate random cards, making the deck highly inconsistent—but also incredibly fun to pilot.
If you're resource-constrained and not an Arishem player, picking up Eson might be unwise with other promising cards like Starbrand and Khonshu releasing this month. However, if you frequently play Arishem decks, Eson is an obvious and strong inclusion.
These are the top Eson deck strategies in Marvel Snap.
