How to Get a Bed and Sleep in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

As soon as you embark on your journey through the expansive world of *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, securing a personal bed becomes a top priority. During the Wedding Crashers quest, you have the choice between following the blacksmith or the miller's questline. Whichever path you take, Radovan or Kreyzl will reward you with a place to sleep.

In my experience, choosing Radovan, located in Tachov, proved advantageous due to its proximity to your starting point. To get your bed, proceed to Tachov, engage in Radovan's questline, and after completing the smithing tutorial, you'll gain access to a room adjacent to the forge for resting.

The bed in the room will then be marked as your bed on the world map, and there’s also an inventory chest in the room that you can use to store your things. Whenever you need a rest to heal up, head back here to sleep.

Sleeping at Campsites

There will be instances when returning to your personal bed isn't feasible. Fortunately, *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* is dotted with campsites along roadsides and within forests. Be prepared, as some of these may be occupied by bandits, requiring you to clear them out before using the campsite. However, others might be vacant.

Upon discovering a campsite, it will appear on your map, and you can use the bedrolls provided to rest. Keep in mind, the comfort level of these campsites won't match that of a proper bed, but they'll suffice for quick healing.

In dire situations, you might also consider using an NPC's bed, though be warned: if caught, you could face repercussions unless you can smooth-talk your way out of trouble.
