Sony Unveils Official PlayStation Wireless Speakers

by Gabriel Dec 24,2025

Sony is expanding its range of official PlayStation audio gear with a fresh addition: wireless speakers.

Built for seamless integration with PlayStation 5 or PC gaming setups, the Pulse Elevate wireless speakers also pair effortlessly with PlayStation Portal and smartphones.

Available in Midnight Black and White, these compact speakers come equipped with a built-in microphone featuring AI-enhanced noise cancellation for crisp voice chat during gameplay.

Revealed in today's State of Play, the speakers are slated for a 2026 launch, though specific pricing remains undisclosed.

"Pulse Elevate leverages PlayStation Link technology for ultra-low latency, lossless audio transmission, ensuring real-time sound synchronization on supported devices," explained Edwin Foo, PlayStation's Vice President of Product Development, in a related blog post.

"Studio-grade planar magnetic drivers in each speaker deliver rich, accurate sound across all frequencies. This allows players to experience games exactly as developers envisioned, whether on PS5, PC, Mac, or PlayStation Portal."

PS5 users can fine-tune speaker settings—including EQ, sidetone, volume, and microphone mute—directly through system menus. PC users will gain access to similar customization options after launch.
