Schedule I Update 0.3.4: New Pawn Shop, 'Fancy Stuff' Added

by Jason Apr 15,2025

Schedule I developer Tyler has released the highly anticipated 0.3.4 update for all players following a short testing period, with detailed patch notes now available on Steam. This update marks the first significant content expansion for Schedule I, which initially launched to remarkable success in early access on Steam on March 24. The new update introduces a functional pawn shop, a boutique store, various wall decorations, and more, enhancing the game's immersive experience.

In a Steam post, Tyler expressed his apologies for the delay in rolling out the update, stating, "I'm still ironing out the update/testing process." He reassured players that future updates would run smoother and be released on time, starting with larger monthly updates next month.

Looking ahead, Tyler outlined his priorities for the game, focusing on resolving lingering bugs. Key areas of concern include ensuring employees function reliably, preventing save game corruption or disappearance, and minimizing disconnections and loading issues in multiplayer. He mentioned collaborating with Valve to enhance the save file format for better compatibility with Steam Cloud saves and reduced corruption risk. Additionally, Tyler aims to optimize the game's performance and secure Steam Deck verification soon, using it as a benchmark for performance.

PlaySchedule I was the top-selling game on Steam upon its launch, outpacing major titles like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals after going viral on social media, Twitch, and YouTube. In the game, players progress from small-time drug dealers to kingpins, managing drug manufacturing and distribution across the gritty city of Hyland Point. Players can expand their empire through properties, businesses, and hiring employees.

Developed and published by TVGS, an Australian indie developer led by Tyler, Schedule I's launch has been described as "amazing but pretty overwhelming." In a reddit post, Tyler expressed his surprise at the game's reception, saying, "I never expected this kind of response! At the moment I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched."
