How to Respec in Avowed

Re-rolling your Avowed character? It happens! This guide details how to respec abilities, attributes, and even your companion's stats.

Why Respec?

Choosing the right class and attributes at the start can be tricky. If your build isn't working, respecing lets you adjust your character to better suit your playstyle. This is particularly useful in Avowed, where experimentation is key to finding your ideal build.

Respeccing Your Abilities:

Open the menu and select "Abilities." At the bottom, you'll find the "Reset Points" option. This costs Copper Skeyt (initially 100, increasing with gameplay). Note that "Godlike" abilities are acquired through in-game choices and cannot be reset.

Respeccing Your Attributes:

Navigate to the "Character" section of the menu. Below your attribute list, you'll see a button to reset attribute points. The cost, like ability resets, is in Copper Skeyt (starting at 100, increasing later).

Respeccing Your Companion:

Go to the "Abilities" menu, then the "Companions" tab. Under your companion's name, you'll find a button to reset their points for a Copper Skeyt cost. Remember: you must respec each companion individually.
