Pokémon Go’s Small Yet Strong event brings your favourite tiny Pokémon to the forefront

The Pokémon Go "Small Yet Strong" event is coming! From February 5th to 8th, trainers will have increased odds of encountering extra-small (XXS) and extra-large (XXL) Pokémon. This event also marks the debut of Shiny Nymble!

This event offers double XP for catching Pokémon. Expect boosted wild spawns of Paras, Natu, Joltik, and various Burmy forms. Regional variations of Flabébé (Red, Blue, Yellow, White, and Orange) will also appear.

Raid battles will feature Dialga and Enamorus (Incarnate Forme) in Five-Star Raids, and Mega Medicham and Mega Tyranitar in Mega Raids. Both raid and wild encounters offer Shiny Pokémon possibilities.

2km Eggs will hatch Togepi, Azurill, Budew, and Dedenne. Field Research tasks reward encounters with Burmy and Nymble. A Timed Research and Collection Challenge provides Stardust, Poké Balls, and more event Pokémon encounters. Event-themed Pokémon will also be featured in PokéStop Showcases.
