'Whip-Cracking Indiana Jones DLC The Order of the Giants Dated

Indiana Jones and The Great Circle’s inaugural expansion, The Order of the Giants, finally has a release date – and it’s just a few months out.

As revealed by a brief teaser during today’s Xbox Games Showcase 2025, The Order of the Giants launches on September 4, 2025. This date applies to all platforms: PC, Xbox Series X/S, and the newer PlayStation 5 version.

Indiana Jones and The Great Circle was among the standout games of 2024, so getting more content is exciting. This expansion appears to delve deeper into the enigmatic, ancient Nephilim Order of giants. Whether we'll also see more of the late Tony Todd’s character, Locus, is still unclear.

Interestingly, The Order of the Giants seems to expand upon the existing game’s narrative and its Rome setting. Indiana Jones will begin this DLC's story by meeting a new character, Father Ricci, who is searching for another mysterious artifact.

“Creating the Nephilim Order was one of the most rewarding aspects of developing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. This secret society of giants, descendants of fallen angels seeking redemption for ancestral sins, offered a rich foundation,” production director John Jennings stated.

“Their story spans millennia, and this DLC allows us to explore more of their lore and aspects untouched in the main campaign. We have new, unexpected stories to share with fans and can’t wait for players to experience it themselves.”

Venturing below the streets of Rome, players will explore new city areas and ancient sewers, participate in Emperor Nero’s secret gladiatorial games, and confront another clandestine group, the Cult of Mithras.
