Chadwick Boseman, the acclaimed actor renowned for portraying T'Challa in the MCU, will be honored with a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on November 20, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has announced.
The unveiling, reported by Variety, is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. PT that day. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce previously revealed Boseman as part of the 2024 honorees.
Boseman tragically died in 2020 at age 43 after a private battle with colon cancer, continuing to act throughout his illness. He is widely recognized as T’Challa in Black Panther and other MCU films, a role he carried into the series What If...?, earning a posthumous Primetime Emmy Award for his performance.
Over his 27-year career, he also starred in many other projects, including Jackie Robinson in 42 and Thurgood Marshall in Marshall. His final film role was as Levee Green in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, for which he won a Golden Globe and a SAG Award for Best Actor, along with an Oscar nomination.
