Pokémon Center Hiroshima's Gyarados Plaza: An Unexpected Twist

Pokemon Center Hiroshima Relocates

New Gyarados-Themed Playground Opens

Pokemon Center Hiroshima will close at the end of March 2025 and relocate to the second floor of Ekie, Hiroshima Station's north exit, reopening around April 2025. Currently located on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima's Main Building, the store's new address marks a significant change since its opening in June 2015.

Simultaneously, the "Gyarados Plaza by Pokemon Center Hiroshima" will open March 24, 2025, on the rooftop of Soramoa Plaza within the new Minamoa building at Hiroshima Station. This playground, featuring large Gyarados-themed play equipment, is designed for all ages. Initially, reservations will be required to access the playground equipment; details will be posted on the official Minamoa website.

Nationwide "Poke-lun TV" Event

To celebrate "Poke-lun TV" surpassing 1 million subscribers, participating Pokemon Centers across Japan (including Hiroshima, before its closure) will host a nationwide event. Fans can receive an exclusive sticker with a password obtained from a "Poke-lun TV" YouTube video (posted December 19, 2024).

Select Pokemon Centers (Mega Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa) will feature studio-style photo opportunities with the popular "Poke-lun TV" hosts (Takkun, Tokichan, Ha-chan, Tai-chan, and Riri-chan).

This event runs January 17 - February 16, 2025, and excludes Pokemon Stores, Pokemon Center Online, Pokemon Cafe, and Pikachu Sweets by Pokemon Cafe. Don't miss out on this special opportunity!
