Genki, a prominent developer of gaming accessories, showcased a 3D-printed Nintendo Switch 2 mockup at CES 2025, revealing several key design features. CEO Eddie Tsai confirmed details gleaned from a black market acquisition of the console, providing insights into its hardware. The mockup, remarkably accurate in dimensions, highlighted a larger form factor approaching the size of Valve's Steam Deck.

Key features observed include magnetic Joy-Cons, a second USB-C port, and an intriguing new "C" button. Tsai confirmed the magnetic attachment of the Joy-Cons, specifically noting the SL and SR buttons. A release mechanism, integrated into each Joy-Con, disengages the magnetic connection.
