The global servers for KonoSuba: Fantastic Days have officially shut down, marking the end of a 3.5-year run. This follows the Japanese version's five-year lifespan. While a relatively short run for a gacha game, especially considering declining revenue, the developers, Sumzap (originally published by Nexon, later Sesisoft), maintained updates until the very end, including voiced story additions and a final song release just weeks before closure.
A farewell livestream in December featured Kazuma's voice actor, and the Japanese version generously archived its entire main story on YouTube, allowing fans to revisit the game's content. Unfortunately, the global version lacks this offline option and a dedicated archive. However, fans can still access the Japanese YouTube archive.
The developers have shifted their focus to the Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade gacha game. This concludes our coverage of the KonoSuba: Fantastic Days Global shutdown. Stay tuned for our next article covering Karrablast and Shelmet in Pokémon Go's February Community Day.
