Genshin Unveils Roster Expansion

Genshin Impact's Version 5.3 introduces Mavuika, Citlali, and the 4-star Lan Yan. Upcoming leaks reveal four new 5-star characters slated for Versions 5.4 through 5.7.

The spotlight is on Mizuki, a 5-star Anemo catalyst user anticipated in Version 5.4, around mid-February. This leak, originating from the reliable source DK2, confirms the character's presence in the 5.4 beta. The lack of other 5-star characters in the beta strengthens the likelihood of Mizuki being the sole 5-star addition in this update.

Mizuki, from Inazuma, is reportedly a support character whose abilities synergize well with the recently released Pyro Archon, Mavuika, and benefit significantly from high Elemental Mastery. Gameplay footage from the beta supports this assessment. A return to Inazuma in the main storyline is possible, given HoYoverse's pattern of revisiting regions several updates after their initial release. Assuming a first-banner appearance in 5.4, players can anticipate Mizuki's arrival around mid-February. The leak also suggests three additional 5-star characters will be released in Versions 5.5, 5.6, and 5.7.
