Dragon Quest X Offline is coming to Japanese mobile devices! This standalone, single-player version of the popular MMORPG will be available tomorrow on iOS and Android. Japanese players can purchase it at a discounted price, enjoying offline functionality.
While the original Dragon Quest X was a Japan-only release, this offline version, initially launched in 2022 for consoles and PC, offers a unique opportunity for fans to experience the game's real-time combat and MMORPG elements on mobile. Remember Ubitu's 2013 plans to bring Dragon Quest X to mobile? This release finally fulfills a long-held desire, at least for Japanese players.
Unfortunately, a global release for the mobile version remains unconfirmed. While hope remains, there's currently no official news regarding international availability. This is a missed opportunity for many fans worldwide, including those who enjoyed other entries in the series like Sentinels of the Starry Sky.
