Pokémon GO's February 2025 Event Calendar: Lunar New Year, Community Day, and More!

February 2025 in Pokémon GO is packed with exciting events, from Lunar New Year festivities to a Community Day featuring Karrablast & Shelmet and even a Dynamax Moltres appearance. Let's break down each event:

Lunar New Year Event: January 29 – February 2

Celebrate the Year of the Snake with increased spawn rates for snake-themed Pokémon like Ekans, Onix, Snivy, Darumaka, Dunsparce, Gyarados, and Dratini (Shiny variants available!). Enjoy boosted Lucky Pokémon trade chances, increased Lucky Friend opportunities, and daily Field Research tasks rewarding PokéCoins. 2KM Eggs will also hatch Makuhita, Nosepass, Meditite, Duskull, and Skorupi (Shiny possibilities!).

Legendary Flight Dynamax Moltres Event: February 3 – 9

Dynamax Moltres makes its debut! Available as a Max Monday boss at all Power Spots on February 3rd (6 PM - 7 PM local time), and continues as a raid boss until February 9th, though at fewer locations as other Max Battle bosses (Squirtle, Krabby, and Sobble) are also featured.

Karrablast & Shelmet Community Day: February 9

A dual Community Day! From 2 PM to 5 PM local time, enjoy increased Karrablast and Shelmet spawns, boosted evolution bonuses, and higher Shiny rates. Evolve your Karrablast or Shelmet by February 16th (10 PM local time) to get an Escavalier with Razor Shell or an Accelgor with Energy Ball, respectively. A Timed Research option is available for purchase.

Beloved Buddies Event: February 11 – 15
