Fortnite's cosmetic item system, featuring rotating skins in the in-game store, creates both excitement and frustration for players. While some skins, like Master Chief (after a two-year absence) and even older ones such as Renegade Raider and Aerial Assault Trooper, eventually reappear, others remain elusive. This is particularly true for the highly sought-after Jinx and Vi skins from Arcane.
The fervent desire among Fortnite players for a Jinx and Vi return, amplified after Arcane's second season, has unfortunately been met with less-than-optimistic news. Riot Games co-founder Marc Merrill, while acknowledging the skin's popularity, indicated the collaboration was limited to the first season and the decision rests with Riot. Although he expressed willingness to discuss the matter internally, he offered no guarantees.
The likelihood of these skins returning seems low. While the potential revenue would benefit Riot, the risk of players migrating from League of Legends to Fortnite due to the skins is a significant concern, especially given League of Legends' current challenges. Therefore, while future changes are possible, it's advisable to manage expectations regarding a Jinx and Vi comeback.
