Adventure RPG with Food Souls The Tale of Food Announces Shutdown

The popular RPG adventure management game, The Tale of Food, featuring anthropomorphic food characters, is officially closing its doors. Initially launched in China for closed beta in September 2019 and later distributed by Tencent Games, the game's servers will shut down globally on March 20th, 2025, at 10:00 AM (UTC+8).

The Tale of Food's Final Curtain Call:

In-app purchases have been disabled as of February 18th, 2025, and new player registration is no longer possible. The game has also been removed from the Google Play Store. However, existing players can continue enjoying the game until the servers' final closure on March 20th.

Refunds for Recent Purchases:

Players who made in-game purchases between January 9th and February 18th, 2025, are eligible for a refund. Contact in-game support or email the developers before March 20th to initiate the refund process. A Look Back at the Game's Journey:

It's worth noting that the game's Japan server closed in April 2023, followed by the China server in June 2024. The global server closure marks the final chapter for this unique culinary adventure.

While the game itself will be unavailable, the official X, Facebook, and Discord communities will remain active, providing a space for players to share memories and reminisce about their time as a Food God's apprentice, managing a realm of charming dumplings and sophisticated seafood.
