The final day of the Six Invitational is a much-anticipated event for Rainbow Six Siege fans, as it's the moment Ubisoft unveils major updates and introduces new operators. This year, the excitement centered around Rauora, the latest attack operator hailing from New Zealand.
Rauora's standout gadget is the DOM launcher, which deploys a bulletproof shield exclusive to doorways. While this shield can be taken down by explosives, its innovative trigger mechanism adds a strategic layer to gameplay. Anyone can shoot the trigger to open the shield, but the timing varies: attackers enjoy a swift one-second opening, while defenders face a three-second delay. This feature could be a game-changer, especially in tense scenarios involving defuser plants.

In addition to her unique gadget, Rauora brings a fresh weapon to the Siege arsenal: the Reaper MK2, a fully automatic pistol equipped with a red dot sight and an expanded magazine. Players can also choose from her primary weapon options, the M249 LMG or the 417 marksman rifle, allowing for versatile playstyles.
Fans eager to try out Rauora can look forward to her appearance on the test servers next week. However, for those playing on the live version of the game, the wait will be slightly longer.
