Alterworlds, an upcoming low-poly puzzle game, has released a captivating 3-minute demo. This sneak peek showcases the core mechanics of this galactic quest to reunite with a lost love. The demo features planetary leaps, obstacle blasting, and artifact manipulation—just a taste of the adventures to come.
As the weekend approaches, it's time to highlight some exciting projects. Alterworlds, a low-poly indie puzzler, stands out for its unique gameplay and aesthetic. Its retro-inspired, cel-shaded visuals, drawing inspiration from artists like Moebius, create a refreshingly pleasing visual style.
The top-down perspective cleverly disguises the depth of the puzzle gameplay. Players will jump, shoot, and manipulate objects across diverse planets, from barren moons to vibrant dinosaur-filled paradises.

My only minor critique might be the slightly clunky tutorial narration. However, this is a truly distinctive puzzle game, and I'm eager to see Idealplay's final product, especially its mobile adaptation.
You might wonder if this early assessment is premature, given the demo's short length. However, we pride ourselves on showcasing the newest games early.
