Ubisoft's hacking-focused Watch Dogs franchise is branching out! A new interactive audio adventure, Watch Dogs: Truth, has launched on Audible. This isn't a traditional mobile game, but a choose-your-own-adventure experience where players guide Dedsec's actions through their decisions.

The narrative plunges players into a near-future London, where Dedsec faces a fresh threat. The ever-helpful AI, Bagley, assists with decision-making after each episode. This format, reminiscent of classic choose-your-own-adventure books, offers a unique take on the Watch Dogs universe.

While surprising to see Watch Dogs debut on mobile in this unconventional way, the audio adventure format presents an intriguing opportunity. This release, however, highlights the franchise's somewhat inconsistent approach and its relatively low-key marketing.
