Dead Sails Kraken Boss Guide

Your journey begins right in the heart of the bustling town, directly across the Gun Store and Hospital, and right in front of the Trading Hut. The first order of business? Clear out any unnecessary loot and arm yourself strategically. For starters, I recommend a Rifle, priced at only $75. It’s a solid choice with enough firepower to hold off most enemies temporarily. Once equipped, don’t forget to stock up on coal to keep your trusty steam-powered boat running smoothly.

After that, it’s time to head toward the next town, located 10,000 meters away. Simply fire up the engine and get moving. Along the way, you’ll encounter zombies and drowned foes scattered around. While killing them can yield some loot, it’s usually not worth the effort unless you’re short on supplies. Save your energy for the journey ahead.

Around 12,000 meters, you’ll stumble upon a castle-like house filled with drowned enemies—but don’t overlook it entirely. Inside, you’ll find valuable Shotgun ammo and other treasures. Use your judgment wisely to balance risk and reward.

Dead Sails Kraken Tips and Tricks

While the core gameplay revolves around kill, loot, repeat, mastering efficiency is key to success. One of my favorite tricks is using the boat itself as your primary inventory. Empty your bag every time you return to the ship to save both time and space.

Another game-changer is stacking zombies near the incinerator. It’s tempting to rush out of those backwater towns, but being strategic about your loot collection pays off big time. Need fuel? Toss a few zombies in and voilà—you’re ready to roll.

When exploring Sheriff’s offices, keep an eye out for concentrated mobs, as they often guard valuable weapons and ammo. Having a friend cover the ground floor while you search upstairs can maximize your haul.

As you approach the fortress around 25,000 meters, be cautious. It’s still under construction, making ambushes likely. Aim for a group of at least five players for safety.

Finally, avoid engaging Big Feet beyond 30,000 meters. They’re brutally strong and consume copious amounts of ammo. Focus on strategic looting instead of grinding for every last item.

How to Defeat the Kraken Boss in Dead Sails Kraken

Before diving into the final battle, sell off all your excess loot in the last safe zone and stockpile essential resources like ammo, weapons, medkits, and fuel. Ensure you have a stash of at least 8-10 corpses for fuel during this critical phase.

At approximately 100,000 meters, the Kraken will emerge from the depths. The first sign of its arrival is the darkening skies. When the boss surfaces, assign each player a tentacle to attack. In a five-player team, form a pentagon-like formation to divide responsibilities effectively.

Be mindful of the water splash attack, which inflicts area-of-effect (AoE) damage. The Kraken telegraphs this move by winding back and creating a visible water trail. Keep plenty of medkits handy to recover from unavoidable hits.

Lastly, watch out for the Roar AoE, an unblockable ability that deals minor damage and buffs the boss slightly. Its presence is marked by concentric white circles emanating from the affected tentacle.

With determination and teamwork, you’ll soon claim victory over the Kraken. For an extra edge, grab one of our exclusive Dead Sails codes to enhance your progress. Smooth sailing awaits!
