Uncovering the secrets in *R.E.P.O.* can add a thrilling layer to your gameplay, especially when you're taking breaks between your loot runs. One of the most exciting secrets to discover is the secret shop. Here's a detailed guide on how to access it and what treasures you can find inside.
The secret shop in *R.E.P.O.* is tucked away within the Service Station, which you can only access between your runs. To reach it, you'll need to complete at least level 1 and meet your quota. Once you've done that, you'll be granted access to the Service Station.
Once inside the Service Station, direct your attention to the ceiling. You're looking for a loose ceiling tile that marks the entrance to the secret shop. You can easily spot this tile by throwing a grenade or another explosive near the healing items, where the entrance is typically located.
To actually get up to the secret shop, you have several options. If you're playing in multiplayer mode, have a teammate lift you up to reach the ceiling tile. Alternatively, you can use the double jump upgrade or the Feather Drone to ascend. If you have a firearm, you can also shoot the tile to expose the entrance.
The inventory in the secret shop varies between runs, but the allure lies in the discounted prices, making it a more cost-effective place to stock up on supplies compared to the regular Service Station. Additionally, the secret shop occasionally stocks unique items like the Human Grenade and Duct Tape Grenade, which are not typically available in the standard shop.
That's your guide to accessing the secret shop in *R.E.P.O.*. For more tips and detailed information on the game, including strategies for dealing with monsters and a comprehensive list of items, be sure to check out The Escapist.
