Trinity Trigger: Secret of Mana-Style Action RPG Hits Android

Japanese game developer Furyu Corporation has officially launched *Trinity Trigger*, an action RPG, on Android devices. Originally released on consoles and PC in collaboration with Western publisher Xseed Games, the mobile version marks a shift as it is now self-published by Furyu, bringing the full experience directly to mobile gamers.

What’s the Story in Trinity Trigger?

In *Trinity Trigger*, you take on the role of Cyan, a young hero destined to confront the Warrior of Order as the prophesied Warrior of Chaos. His journey unfolds across the vibrant world of Trinitia, where he forms a powerful alliance with two companions—Elise and Zantis. Together, they stand against the encroaching darkness, battling enemies and uncovering the mysteries of their world.

Joining them are the Triggers—beast-like companions that can transform into eight distinct weapon types. These dynamic forms allow for seamless combat adaptation, and you can switch between Cyan, Elise, and Zantis on the fly, enabling real-time tactical shifts during battle.

The narrative embraces classic JRPG elements: a hero shaped by fate, forgotten memories, and a world on the brink of collapse. The game features a traditional structure with explorable towns, engaging NPC dialogues, and deep dungeon crawls. Each dungeon is crafted from the remnants of ancient godlike weapons known as Arma, serving as both battlegrounds and puzzle-filled labyrinths teeming with secrets and challenges.

From icy snowfields to scorching deserts, the environments are diverse and richly detailed, enhancing the sense of adventure as you progress through the story.

What About the Combat?

Combat in *Trinity Trigger* centers around the innovative Weapon Wheel system, which lets you instantly switch between weapon types to exploit enemy weaknesses. This fast-paced mechanic keeps battles dynamic and strategic. As you explore, you’ll gather materials to upgrade your gear, strengthening your party for tougher encounters ahead.

The game also features fully voiced dialogue and beautifully animated cutscenes that elevate the storytelling with cinematic flair. With three playable characters—each wielding nine unique weapons and a personalized skill set—the combat system offers depth and variety for fans of action RPGs.

*Trinity Trigger* is now available on the Google Play Store for $19.99. While the price point may seem high for a mobile title, it reflects the game’s full-scale JRPG design and premium production quality.
