Avowed: Discover All Treasure Map Locations

There are three Treasure Maps to collect in each region of Avowed, scattered across the diverse landscapes of the game world. To uncover their hidden treasures, you’ll need to locate each map first—some are tucked away in secluded corners, while others can be purchased from merchants. Once you have them, follow the clues to unearth valuable rewards.

If you're aiming for the Pathfinder Achievement, which challenges you to discover every treasure linked to these maps, this guide will help you track down all map locations across the first three regions: Dawnshore, Emerald Stair, and Shatterscarp. All Treasure Map Locations in Avowed

Across the game’s four major regions—Dawnshore, Emerald Stair, Shatterscarp, and Galawain’s Tusks—there are 12 Treasure Maps in total. Some can be obtained quickly through simple fast travel, while others require careful navigation and exploration. Dawnshore Treasure Maps

Intimidating Feline Codpiece

This is the most accessible Treasure Map in Avowed. You can acquire it early in your journey by visiting Lyanna, a merchant located in Claviger’s Landing within the Paradise area.

If you missed her during your initial playthrough, simply fast-travel to the Claviger’s Landing Beacon, head forward into the town, and look for Lyanna’s shop—The Best Offense—on the left side of the path. She sells the Treasure Map – Intimidating Feline Codpiece for 100 coins.

Captain Henqua’s Spoils

Head to the Lighthouse just west of Claviger’s Landing to find the Captain Henqua’s Spoils Treasure Map. Climb the structure until you reach a wooden platform where a skeleton lies. Among the lootable items on the body, you’ll find the map as the third item.

After collecting it, continue climbing to the top of the lighthouse to claim a bonus reward: the unique Arcanist’s Boots, found inside a chest.

Woedica’s Inheritance

To obtain the Treasure Map – Woedica’s Inheritance, travel to Sanza’s Emporium, located southeast of Paradise Hightown.

The fastest route is to exit Paradise through the eastern city gate, descend the stairs, turn left, and follow the road until you reach the building marked on your map. Inside, speak with Sanza, who will sell you the map for 100 coins.

Emerald Stair Treasure Map Locations

Painter’s Regret

Located in a secluded house southeast of the Farmer’s Market Beacon, the Treasure Map – Painter’s Regret lies inside a painter’s abandoned home.

Fast-travel to the beacon and approach the house—be cautious, as enemies may be guarding the area. The front door is locked, so circle around to the right side of the building to find a hidden side entrance. Inside, the map rests on a canvas, waiting to be collected.

Practical Pockets

This map is available for purchase at The Gifted Magpie, a shop located in Fior mes Iverno.

Upon entering the city from the main gate, pass the central fountain and proceed toward the building highlighted on your map. Speak with the merchant Ector Brewer, who will sell you the Treasure Map – Practical Pockets for 660 coins.

Earthly Eigis

One of the more challenging maps to reach, Earthly Eigis is hidden in a secluded chamber connected by a narrow branch near the entrance to Naku Tedek.

From the party camp, exit toward Naku Tedek, turn right, walk past the blue mushrooms, and proceed behind the tents. Navigate through the gap between two marquees until you spot a stone oven on your left and a fragile branch ahead.

Perform a running jump across the branch to a small opening. Your character will automatically climb through into a hidden room, where the Treasure Map – Earthly Eigis awaits inside a chest.

Shatterscarp Treasure Maps

Robe of the Arcane Cheater

Located west of Shark’s Teeth, this map can be purchased from Ihaka, a merchant operating out of her shop, The Thrifty Pig, in the Shatterscarp region.

Fast-travel to the Tago’s Tower Beacon, climb the hill directly ahead, and carefully descend the cliff toward the merchant marker on your mini-map. Speak with Ihaka, and she’ll sell you the Treasure Map – Robe of the Arcane Cheater for 1680 coins.

Dead Man’s Trail

From the Shark’s Mouth Beacon, head due south into the heart of the Great Grand Sea. Follow the path until you reach a lone tent marked on your map.

Inside, a corpse holds the Treasure Map – Dead Man’s Trail, ready for looting. Be aware—Dreamthrall enemies patrol the area, so clear them out before approaching the tent to avoid ambushes.

Seafarer’s Boots

The final Treasure Map in Shatterscarp can be found near the Thirdborn party camp. Head toward the narrow ridge marked on your map and cross it carefully.

Continue forward until you encounter the NPC Loato, who’s muttering to himself. Behind him, on a blanket filled with belongings, lies the Treasure Map – Seafarer’s Boots—simply pick it up to add it to your collection.
