Adin Ross's Return to Kick: A Permanent Fixture with "Bigger" Plans

Adin Ross has definitively ended speculation about his future, confirming his intention to remain on the Kick streaming platform "for good." His recent return, following a prolonged absence that fueled rumors of his departure, marks a significant development for both Ross and Kick.

Ross, a prominent and often controversial streamer, joined Kick after a permanent ban from Twitch in 2023. His move, along with other high-profile creators like xQc, significantly contributed to Kick's rapid growth. While 2023 saw considerable success, his sudden disappearance from Kick in 2024 sparked widespread uncertainty and speculation, including rumors of a rift with Kick CEO Ed Craven.

However, during a December 21, 2024 livestream with Craven, Ross dispelled these rumors, confirming his commitment to Kick. He further solidified this commitment in a recent tweet, assuring fans of his permanent return. His January 4, 2025 livestream, his first in 74 days, alongside Cuffem, Shaggy, and Konvy, served as a powerful statement.

Beyond his return, Ross hinted at "something even bigger" on the horizon. While details remain undisclosed, many believe this relates to his Brand Risk boxing events, a project he intends to expand with Kick's support. Given past legal challenges with Misfits Boxing earlier in 2024, the success of future Brand Risk endeavors will be closely watched.

Ross's decision is a boon for both his fanbase and Kick, which continues its ambitious growth strategy. Kick co-founder Bijan Tehrani's previously stated goal of surpassing or acquiring Twitch, while ambitious, now seems increasingly plausible given the platform's momentum and the retention of key streamers like Ross.
