S-Tier

S Rank units in Tribe Nine

Five characters dominate the S-tier in Tribe Nine, with Tsuruko Semba arguably the best. Her support abilities, coupled with significant damage output and the game-changing "Invigorating Surge" ultimate, make her incredibly versatile. Her fluid movement also enhances her offensive capabilities.

Miu Jujo, a powerful Attacker, excels with her Luminous Crystals, inflicting consistent damage over time (DoT) and boasting high speed for evasive maneuvers. Her ultimate skill and mobility make her a formidable damage dealer.

Q, a Tank unit, shines with his high Break Ability and potent attacks. His "Fighting Will" stacks significantly boost his damage, synergizing well with Tsuruko Semba and an Attacker.

Minami Oi, despite being a 2-star unit, provides excellent healing support with her versatile drone, seamlessly switching between healing and aggressive modes. Her ranged attacks are also beneficial for new players.

Enoki Yukigaya, another exceptional Attacker, builds "Heat" through combos and counterattacks, unleashing devastating special skills once enough Heat is accumulated.

A-Tier

Eiji Todoroki is a strong A-tier Attacker with substantial attack skills and sustain abilities. His "Brilliant Me!" skill reduces damage taken while "My Turn to Shine!" is active, proving invaluable during enemy focus.

Jio Takinogawa provides reliable tanking, taunting enemies and mitigating damage. However, his lower damage output places him below S-tier.

Yo Kuronaka, the protagonist, offers a decent high Break Ability, although his less fluid moveset may feel awkward for some players. His damage is lower than S-tier units.

B-Tier

Roku Saigo and Koishi Kohinata comprise the B-tier. Roku is a decent Fighter with average damage, lacking standout abilities. Koishi, a free starting Healer, serves as a serviceable early-game support but should be replaced with stronger options when available.

Yutaka Gotanda, Tsuki Iroha, and Hyakuichitaro Senju are functional but lack exceptional abilities. While useful in the early and mid-game, they may hinder progress in the late game. Tsuki Iroha is free but Koishi Kohinata is a better early investment. Yutaka Gotanda is an adequate Tank, and Hyakuichitaro Senju is an average damage dealer.
