Rumors are swirling around Mortal Kombat 1, especially regarding the possibility that the current DLC lineup might be wrapping up after the release of T-1000. While this speculation exists, it’s still too early to confirm such claims, particularly since the focus remains on the newly released gameplay trailer for the Liquid Terminator.
Unlike characters known for their aerial prowess or flashy abilities, T-1000 stands out with his unique power—the ability to transform into liquid metal. This skill is not just visually striking but also serves a strategic purpose, allowing him to dodge attacks seamlessly and chain together extended combos with ease.
The Fatality for T-1000 draws inspiration from Terminator 2: Judgment Day, featuring a dramatic moment involving a massive truck reminiscent of the film’s famous chase scene. To keep the trailer within appropriate ratings and maintain anticipation, only a portion of the finishing move was revealed.
T-1000 is set to join the roster on March 18, alongside a new Kameo fighter named Madam Bo. As for what lies ahead, neither Ed Boon nor NetherRealm Studios has provided any concrete updates on future plans for the game.
