The remastered versions of Suikoden 1 and Suikoden 2 introduce two innovative battle modes: Auto-Battle and Double-Speed Battle Mode. In Auto-Battle mode, the game autonomously selects actions for your party members during their turn, streamlining combat. Meanwhile, Double-Speed Battle Mode accelerates the execution of actions during fights, making battles more brisk and engaging.
These features enable a more relaxed gaming experience, though it's important to remember that relying on automated commands might not always lead to victory.

A significant addition to the Suikoden 1 & 2 HD Remaster is the dialogue log feature. This allows players to revisit lines of dialogue from various characters and important conversations. With this tool, you can easily review key story events and keep track of crucial information throughout your journey.
Suikoden 1 & 2 HD Remaster boasts enhanced graphics optimized for modern consoles including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. Every aspect of the game, from character models and portraits to backgrounds and battle scenes, has been meticulously re-illustrated and refined.
The user interface (UI) for both combat and menu navigation has been completely revamped for a smoother and more intuitive experience. Furthermore, the remaster introduces new screen effects such as improved lighting, cloud animations, and dynamic shadows, enhancing the visual appeal.
In terms of audio, the remaster offers a richer soundscape with enhanced environmental sounds and special effects (SFX), providing a more immersive experience compared to the original versions.

In the Suikoden 1 & 2 HD Remaster, toggling to Auto-Battle Mode is now as simple as pressing a button. You can also cancel Auto-Battle at any time before the battle concludes. Similarly, Double-Speed Battle Mode can be activated with a single button press, allowing for swift and efficient combat.
