Sid Meier’s Civilization VII marks the latest entry in a strategy game series that originated in 1991. Developed by Firaxis, it allows players to choose a historical leader to guide their civilization towards world dominance. You can construct cities, create architectural marvels, and expand your empire through conquest or diplomacy with neighboring civilizations.
The game offers flexibility in how you navigate your civilization's journey, whether sticking close to historical accuracy or diverging to create a unique narrative.
A significant innovation in Civ 7 is the dynamic civilization selection. Instead of playing as a single civilization throughout, you'll choose a new one for each of three Ages: Antiquity, Exploration, and Modern, while your chosen leader remains constant.
