Selling Stolen Items in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

The most straightforward method to sell stolen items in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 involves storing them in an inventory chest and waiting for about one to two in-game weeks. This allows the stolen mark on the item to vanish, enabling you to sell it to any trader NPC without issues.

When you steal an item through lockpicking or pickpocketing, it will be marked as stolen in your inventory. Most traders won't buy these marked items, and if a guard searches your inventory, you risk arrest unless you can bribe them.

To circumvent these problems, storing stolen items in a chest and waiting is your best bet. Over time, as the memory of the theft fades, you can sell these items freely.

Unlocking certain perks can also help. The Hustler and Partner in Crime perks, found under the Speech category, allow you to sell stolen items without any hassle. It's worth prioritizing these perks early on.

Another option is selling to a fence. Early in the game, you can find one at the Nomads’ Camp.

How Long Until You Can Sell Stolen Items

The duration it takes for a stolen item to lose its mark depends on its value. More expensive items take longer to become sellable, so plan your strategy accordingly.
