Get ready for an exciting new journey with Saros, the latest game from Housemarque, announced at the February 2025 State of Play. Scheduled for release in 2026, Saros promises to build upon the thrilling gameplay of Returnal, offering fans a fresh yet familiar experience.
Housemarque's new title, Saros, is set to launch on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro in 2026. This game continues the legacy of the studio's acclaimed third-person action game, Returnal, and introduces players to a new protagonist, Arjun Devraj, portrayed by the talented Hollywood actor Rahul Kohli.
According to Housemarque’s creative director, Gregory Louden, Saros is designed to establish a standalone IP that expands on Returnal's storytelling and mechanics. While Returnal offered an ever-changing roguelike experience across shifting biomes, Saros introduces permanent and evolving loadouts, including weapons and suits. This new feature aims to empower players to "Come Back Stronger," enabling them to overcome any challenges they encounter.
