Leaked character names include Layla, Dax, Bry, Christian, Henry, and Christa Bennett. The antagonist appears to be Ian Duncan, a conspiracy theorist with a significant following whose anti-elite sentiment drives his actions. John McKay and Dr. Safna Kazan are also mentioned, possibly as important supporting characters.

The most surprising detail is the rumored setting: New England. This would mark a significant departure for the Far Cry series. While unconfirmed by Ubisoft, casting calls reportedly mentioned New England specifically, lending credence to the rumor.
