Pokémon GO's March 2025 Community Day Lineup and Beloved Buddies Event Details

Fuecoco Ignites March's Community Day

Get ready for the fiery start to March's Pokémon GO Community Day! Fuecoco, the Fire Croc Pokémon, takes center stage on March 8th, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (local time). Expect increased Fuecoco spawns and boosted Shiny rates.

Evolving your Fuecoco to Skeledirge (via Crocalor) within one week of the event unlocks the powerful Charged Attack, Blast Burn. Skeledirge can also learn Torch Song, regardless of the timeframe.

A special Timed Research event runs concurrently, offering a Fuecoco encounter with a Seasonal Special Background and further enhancing Shiny encounter chances. Complete the tasks by March 15th, 2025, at 10:00 PM (local time).

For $2.00, a Community Day Special Research ticket provides three Fuecoco encounters (all with Seasonal Special Backgrounds), Battle Passes, and Rare Candies. Gift this ticket to friends at Great Friends level or higher.

March and Beyond: Community Day Dates Unveiled

Pokémon GO has announced Community Day dates extending through May:

• Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 (Community Day Classic)
• Sunday, April 27th, 2025
• Sunday, May 11th, 2025
• Saturday, May 24th, 2025 (Community Day Classic)

Community Day Classic events revisit past Community Day Pokémon, offering another chance to catch them. The featured Pokémon for the other dates remain a mystery for now.

Beloved Buddies Event: Candela or Arlo?

The Beloved Buddies event, featuring Dhelmise, includes a Timed Research with two branching paths: one focusing on friendship with your Buddy Pokémon and Team Valor's Candela, the other on catching Pokémon and battling Team GO Rocket's Arlo.

Initial tasks reward Ultra Balls, Remoraid, and Mantine encounters. Choosing a path unlocks unique rewards:

Candela Path: Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash.

Arlo Path: Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, a Pocket Radar, and encounters with Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.
