Albion Online's Rogue Frontier Update: Smugglers, New Weapons, and More!

Sandbox Interactive's medieval fantasy MMORPG, Albion Online, is getting a major update on February 3rd: Rogue Frontier! This update introduces a new faction, exciting gameplay mechanics, and stylish new weapons.

Outland Adventures:

The Rogue Frontier update focuses on the Smugglers, rebels who've established a presence in the Outlands. They've created hidden underground bases known as Smuggler's Dens, serving as crucial hubs for banking, repairs, and planning expeditions. These dens are interconnected via the Smuggler's Network, a sophisticated marketplace system spanning the Outlands.

Players can aid the Smugglers in their ongoing conflict with the Royal Guards, engaging in activities like rescuing captured Smugglers and delivering contraband.

Rewards for Loyalty:

Supporting the Smugglers pays off! Maggy Slade, a mysterious trader residing in the dens, rewards loyal players with valuable items, including a Smuggler's Vanity Set, a Smuggler's Cape (with a potion cooldown reduction ability), a Smuggler's Ring, and an Avatar.

New Features:

The update introduces Kill Trophies, dropped by defeated players. The value of the loot on the defeated player increases the chance of obtaining a trophy.

Three new weapons add a stylish edge to combat:

• Rotcaller Staff: Summons a mist that repels enemies.
• Skystrider Bow: Allows levitation and ranged attacks from above.
• Forcepulse Bracers: Unleashes shockwaves during dashes.
