The Last of Us Season 3 Greenlit Ahead of S2 Debut

Breaking news confirms what many anticipated: HBO's The Last of Us has officially secured a Season 3 renewal, announced mere days before Season 2's Max premiere.

The series debuted spectacularly in January 2023, widely praised as the finest video game adaptation to date. Its first season earned eight Emmy wins from 24 nominations. Season 2 reunites stars Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal as Ellie and Joel, introducing Kaitlyn Dever as vengeance-driven soldier Abby.
