Noodlecake Studios has unveiled Super Flappy Golf for Android devices - their first internally developed title since Golf Blitz debuted in 2019. Following a limited regional release earlier this year across Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the Philippines, the quirky flight-based golf game is now available worldwide.
The franchise began unexpectedly back in 2015 when Noodlecake created Flappy Golf during a game jam session. What started as a simplified remake of Super Stickman Golf 2 - stripping away RPG elements like leveling and power-ups - evolved into a cult favorite with its unique aerial golfing mechanics.
Ten years later, the studio delivers Super Flappy Golf, the third installment that expands the formula with enhanced movement options and competitive multiplayer.
Super Flappy Golf launches with 30 challenging courses while retaining the signature two-button tap controls series veterans will recognize. However, gameplay now incorporates sophisticated new dive and glide systems that transform how players navigate each hole.
Mastering momentum and wind resistance becomes crucial for achieving optimal flight paths and setting competitive flap-count records.
The game introduces several competitive modes including:
A comprehensive stat-tracking profile system records all your airborne achievements.
Super Flappy Golf features an eccentric progression system where players collect eggs that hatch into various Birdie characters. With millions of possible trait combinations across different rarity tiers, no two players' avatars will perform exactly alike.
The game is available as a free download on Google Play Store. For more mobile gaming updates, see our coverage of Pikmin Bloom's seasonal events.
