Niantic and Capcom have unveiled an exciting collaboration event between the mobile game Monster Hunter Now and the eagerly awaited Monster Hunter Wilds. This event promises a variety of quests and exclusive rewards for fans. Scheduled to run from February 3, 2025, at 9 am to March 31, 2025, at 11:59 pm (local time), players can secure Monster Hunter Wilds-themed goodies before the game's official launch.
Capcom has also announced a second open beta test for Monster Hunter Wilds, slated for February 2025. This test will include content from the first beta, introduce a new monster hunt, and allow character carryover. In the meantime, fans can engage with the augmented reality mobile game Monster Hunter Now, which uses real-life locations to interact with monsters on the map.
During the event, players can participate in limited-time Monster Hunter Wilds Collab Event Quests within Monster Hunter Now. Completing these quests will grant players a gift code that can be redeemed for exclusive items in Wilds. These bonus items, including Mega Potions, Energy Drinks, Dust of Life, and more, provide a compelling reason to dive into Monster Hunter Now before Wilds' release. Players can find the gift code in the hunter menu, where it will be generated for the chosen platform.
Monster Hunter Now x Monster Hunter Wilds Collaboration Event Announced With Bonus Items
Monster Hunter Now's Season 4, titled Roars from the Winterwind, launched in December and will continue until March 12, 2025. This season introduces a new habitat, additional monsters, and the Switch Axe weapon type. Players can also earn a variety of supply items by logging in during the collaboration event, including Weapon Refining Parts and Armor Refining Parts. Limited-time packs will be available in the in-game shop and web store, featuring Special Carving Knives and Hunting Tickets.
Monster Hunter Wilds, set to launch in 2025, is among the most anticipated titles of the year, alongside Avowed, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Nintendo's new Pokemon Legends: Z-A, and the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6. As a successor to Monster Hunter: World from 2018, Wilds features expansive open-world biomes, 14 weapon types, and supports four-player co-op multiplayer. A standout feature is the Seikret mount, allowing players to carry two weapons during hunts.
