The Honkai: Star Rail universe keeps expanding with the arrival of Version 3.1, bringing with it an exciting new playable character—Medea. As a 5-star hero aligned with the Path of Destruction, Medea introduces fresh combat dynamics and strategic depth to the game.
A recent overview trailer from the developers offers a detailed look at Medea’s abilities and battlefield role. She wields Imaginary-type damage with powerful offensive capabilities. Her unique gameplay centers around a daring mechanic: she can sacrifice portions of her own health to unleash high-impact attacks on a targeted enemy and surrounding foes, making her especially effective in crowd control scenarios.
One of Medea’s standout features is her "Fury" state. When activated, this mode grants her a crucial survival tool—allowing her to avoid defeat from a fatal attack. Upon taking such a hit, she exits the "Fury" state and regains a portion of her health, reinforcing her presence in prolonged or high-stakes battles.
With the Version 3.1 update now live, players can soon summon Medea via her exclusive character banner. Her inclusion enriches team composition strategies and opens up new tactical pathways for players exploring the vast, evolving world of Honkai: Star Rail.
