Kjera might appear calm and collected, but don't let that fool you—she's a formidable 5-star Mech-Accord Caster who can expertly lock down and eliminate foes with a remarkable level of control. Introduced as the welfare Operator during the Break the Ice event, Kjera brings a unique style of Arts damage to Arknights, utilizing her drone companion, which scales damage the longer it focuses on a target. She seamlessly blends consistent DPS with crowd-control elements, making her an excellent addition to teams seeking reliable, scalable ranged Arts output.
Unlike burst-focused Casters in Arknights, Kjera adopts a more methodical approach. While her basic attacks may not be the most potent, her short attack interval combined with her drone's escalating power makes her increasingly dangerous as battles prolong. With the right setup, she can compete with Core Casters of similar rarity—and the best part? She's free, making her an invaluable asset for both new and returning players.
Kjera is part of the Mech-Accord branch, meaning she attacks in tandem with a drone. This drone inflicts Arts damage starting at 20% of her ATK, which increases by 15% with each consecutive hit on the same target, up to a maximum of 110%. Coupled with her rapid attack rate, this mechanic ensures impressive sustained DPS, particularly against stationary or slow-moving enemies. Importantly, Kjera is obtained not through banners or gacha, but via her guidebook, or Record Restoration.
This system rewards targeting consistency. The longer her drone can focus on one enemy, the more devastating her damage becomes. It makes her an ideal choice for tackling bosses or mini-bosses that linger within range. However, be cautious as any forced retargeting will reset the ramp-up, making careful positioning and control essential.

Kjera also synergizes well with operators who reduce enemy RES or apply Freeze, enhancing the Cold effect from her S2. Additionally, those who boost ATK or ASPD can indirectly amplify her drone's effectiveness.
When placing Kjera, be mindful of her positioning. Her talent requires melee tiles within her range, so it's crucial to scout the map layout and choose deployment zones that allow you to fulfill this condition without compromising coverage.
Kjera is a subtle powerhouse. With her gradually building drone pressure, potential for Cold debuffs, and a reliable team-friendly setup, she significantly outperforms expectations for a welfare unit. Whether you're deploying her for consistent lane control or strategic boss damage, she delivers—provided she's placed and built strategically.
For enhanced map control and precise drone management, consider playing Arknights on PC with BlueStacks. The improved visuals and quicker response times facilitate better positioning, timely skill usage, and steady drone pressure, even during the most challenging stages.
