Conquer the Sanctum in Marvel Snap's new limited-time mode, Sanctum Showdown! Available until March 11th, this event introduces a fresh competitive experience.
Reach 16 points first to claim victory—a change from the usual turn-six win condition. The new Sanctum location is key, awarding the most points each turn. Snapping mechanics are also revamped; starting on turn three, you can snap once per turn to boost the Sanctum's value by one point, creating dynamic shifts in momentum.
Entering a match costs one Scroll, but winning earns you another. You begin with 12 Scrolls, replenishing by two every eight hours. Run out? Purchase more for 40 Gold. Regardless of the outcome, each match increases your Sorcerer Rank and awards Charms, redeemable in the Sanctum Shop for cosmetics and new cards.
Strategize carefully! Certain cards and locations are banned to ensure fair matches. Abilities affecting final scores are disabled, and cards like Debrii are removed to prevent overpowered strategies. Captain Marvel and Dracula, for example, won't be your go-to heroes here.
Craft your winning deck using our Marvel Snap tier list for optimal results!
Looking to add Laufey, Gorgon, or Uncle Ben to your collection? Sanctum Showdown offers a unique opportunity to unlock these cards before their March 13th Token Shop release. Participate in Portal Pulls for a chance to earn them for free, along with up to four Series 4 or 5 cards.
Don't miss out! Sanctum Showdown ends March 11th. Visit the official website for details.
