In the captivating world of Limbus Company, Lunacy reigns as the premium currency, essential for unlocking new Identities and EGOs—the game's gacha allure. If you're aiming to diversify your character roster, amassing Lunacy is your top priority.
The journey to earn Lunacy mirrors that of many gacha games; you'll be showered with it at the start, but as your account progresses, the flow of Lunacy will trickle down.
For newcomers to Limbus Company, diving into the main story is your golden ticket to Lunacy. Each chapter you complete will reward you with approximately 390 Lunacy, and achieving an EX rating on missions will boost that by an additional 260 Lunacy. To snag that EX rating, you'll need to fulfill all the EX objectives for a mission, and doing so for the first time will net you another 40 Lunacy. Strive to meet those objectives to maximize your earnings.
First-time clears of Luxcavation stages also come with Lunacy rewards, but remember, these are one-time bonuses.
Once you've exhausted the story quests, your Lunacy income will begin to wane. At this stage, consider the following methods to keep your Lunacy flowing:
Boosted Mirror Dungeons are your most reliable Lunacy source post-storyline. You can attempt up to three of these dungeons weekly, earning 750 Lunacy in total. They reset every Wednesday, so mark your calendars. These dungeons can be challenging, so bring your strongest Identities to the fray.
Limited-time events are another prime opportunity to stock up on Lunacy. Don't miss out on these; they're your chance to boost your Lunacy reserves. Be thorough with event rewards to ensure you don't overlook any bonuses.
Uptying involves enhancing your Sinners' Identities and EGOs. Reaching Uptie Tier 3 not only strengthens your characters but also grants you 40 Lunacy. While this method has its limits, it's a long-term strategy for Lunacy accumulation. Keep upgrading your characters and amassing Threads to eventually Uptie your entire team.
Lastly, the battle pass in Limbus Company is laden with resources to bolster your Sinners, including Lunacy. While there's a free track, the premium rewards require a real-money investment to unlock everything on offer.
