Konami confirms a 2025 release for the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Producer Noriaki Okamura, in a recent 4Gamer interview, emphasized the studio's commitment to delivering a high-quality, polished game that meets fan expectations. Okamura stated that the remake is currently playable from start to finish, with the remaining development time dedicated to refinement and detail improvements.
While previous speculation suggested a 2024 release, the game is now officially slated for 2025. The remake will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The developers promise to retain the essence of the original Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater while incorporating modern gameplay mechanics and significantly enhanced visuals. Beyond graphical upgrades, Okamura also hinted at new features designed to elevate the overall gameplay experience.
Konami unveiled a captivating trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in late September. The over two-minute trailer showcases key moments, including the protagonist, antagonists, an intense airdrop sequence, and a thrilling shootout.
