KEMCO Launches Retro RPG Dragon Spira on Mobile

KEMCO's Dragon Spira is now available on Android. This latest title joins other popular series entries like Dragon Sinker: Descendants of Legend, Dragon Lapis, and Dragon Prana. Read on to learn everything about this new release.

What is the story of Dragon Spira?

The story begins a thousand years after six powerful Spirit Beasts rose against their divine creators. In response, the gods sealed the beasts away before vanishing themselves, leaving humanity with two sacred artifacts: the Divine Sword and the Seed of Hope.

Now, a new hero rises to face this ancient threat! The gameplay features classic turn‑based combat alongside an innovative Sugoroku‑style board that serves as the leveling system.

Battles reward you with RP, which you use to move across the board. Landing on certain spaces grants stat increases, treasure, quest‑based rewards, or valuable prizes.

Another standout feature is the ability to raise the Spirit Beast Ouve by gathering elemental fruits hidden throughout the world. As Ouve evolves, it gains elemental traits and unlocks Wonder Skills—powerful abilities that can be used in combat.

Dragon Spira also includes deep customization through an extensive job system. Each character can switch between various roles, and advanced jobs become available as you progress. Changing jobs also alters the character’s visual appearance.
