Hogwarts Legacy Mods Coming Sooner Than Expected

WB Games has unveiled an exciting update for fans of the Harry Potter universe: starting this Thursday, Hogwarts Legacy will support mods on PC. This feature will be a key part of a new patch, available for download on both Steam and the Epic Games Store (EGS).

The update introduces the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, a comprehensive toolkit designed to empower fans to create new content, including dungeons, quests, and character edits. The renowned platform, CurseForge, will manage and distribute these user-generated mods. Additionally, Hogwarts Legacy will feature a new mod manager, enabling players to easily discover and install mods that catch their eye.

On launch day, several pre-approved mods will be ready for players to explore, with the Dungeon of Doom standing out as a highlight. This new dungeon will challenge players to battle numerous enemies and uncover hidden secrets. However, there's a caveat: to access these mods, players will need to link their game accounts to a WB Games account.

Alongside the modding capabilities, the patch will enhance character customization, offering new hairstyles and additional outfits. The developers have provided a glimpse of these mods in the latest trailer.

Looking ahead, fans can anticipate more from the Harry Potter universe, as Warner Bros. Discovery has confirmed that the second part of the adventure game is in development and is among the corporation's top priorities for the coming years.
