HOTS Brings Back Beloved Game Mode

Heroes Brawl is returning as Brawl Mode, featuring classic discontinued maps with unique gameplay twists. This revitalized mode will rotate every two weeks with special rewards.

The long-awaited return of Heroes Brawl marks a significant moment for Heroes of the Storm players. Following nearly five years since the mode's retirement, Brawl Mode brings back the chaotic fun of varied challenges and special event rulesets that originally debuted in 2016. Currently available on the Public Test Realm, the holiday-themed Snow Brawl offers players their first taste of this revived gameplay experience.

Brawl Mode Mechanics and Features

The updated Brawl Mode will rotate on the 1st and 15th of each month, offering players a special chest reward for completing three matches. While the PTR currently showcases Snow Brawl, future rotations are expected to bring back beloved favorites from the original Heroes Brawl roster while potentially introducing fresh challenges.

This revival coincides with Heroes of the Storm's upcoming 10-year anniversary on June 2, 2025, generating excitement among the game's dedicated community. The mode's return has sparked hopes for continued support and development of the Blizzard MOBA.
