My Hero Academia: The Strongest Mobile Game to Conclude Operations
Xin Yuan Studios has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for its popular mobile action RPG, My Hero Academia: The Strongest. Based on Kohei Horikoshi's acclaimed anime series, the game, published by Sony Pictures Television, KOMOE Game Corporation, and A-Plus Japan, launched globally in May 2021.
Closure Date and Details:
The game's servers will officially shut down on March 31st, 2025. Downloads have been removed from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store as of February 24th, 2025, and in-app purchases are no longer available. Following the server shutdown, all official social media accounts will be deactivated. However, customer support will remain active for an additional 30 days to address player inquiries. Players who made purchases between January 25th and February 24th, 2025, are eligible for refunds before the server closure.
A farewell gift is planned for all players in the game's final weeks, including SSS+ Limited Time Heroes and 100,000 Hero Coins, details of which can be found on the official website.
Reasons for Closure:
The closure of My Hero Academia: The Strongest after approximately four years isn't entirely unexpected in the gacha game market. While the game initially boasted strong PvP combat and a well-received system, a lack of significant updates following its first anniversary and reported mismanagement contributed to its eventual decline. The game's longevity despite this lack of consistent updates is notable.
